Dentures

Dentures, made to fit your smile

Dr. Tye Thompson makes full and partial dentures, immediate dentures that go in the same day as your extractions, and relines and repairs for the dentures you already have.

Dentures may be right if you...

A consultation shows which option fits your mouth and your goals.

  • Are missing most or all of your teeth in one jaw
  • Are missing several teeth but want to keep your healthy ones
  • Need teeth removed and don't want to go without teeth while you heal
  • Have dentures that feel loose, rub or have broken

Overview

Which kind of denture do you need?

It depends on how many teeth you're missing and whether any need to come out. Full dentures replace all the teeth in an upper or lower jaw. Partial dentures fill in for missing teeth while keeping your healthy ones. If you're having teeth removed, immediate dentures go in the same day as your extractions, so you don't go without teeth while you heal. And if your dentures feel loose or have broken, a reline or repair can make them fit and work again. If you'd rather have teeth that are fixed in place, ask about dental implants: Dr. Thompson places and restores those too.

The process

How getting dentures works

  1. Consultation

Dr. Thompson examines your mouth, takes X-rays and talks through full, partial and immediate options with you.

  2. Design and fitting

Your dentures are made for your mouth and bite. Immediate dentures are made ahead of time so they can go in the day your teeth come out.

  3. Adjustments

As your gums heal and change, we adjust your dentures and reline them when needed so they keep fitting well.
