Teeth Whitening

Teeth whitening, in the office or at home

Brighten your smile with Zoom! whitening in our office in a single visit, or with custom-fitted trays you use at home. Either way, your whitening is done under a dentist's care.

Whitening may be right if you...

Professional whitening works best on natural teeth with surface stains. A quick exam tells us whether it will work for your smile.

  • Have stains from coffee, tea, soda or tobacco
  • Want a brighter smile before a wedding, photos or another big event
  • Have tried store-bought kits without the results you wanted
  • Have healthy teeth and gums (we check first)

Overview

Which whitening is right for you?

We offer two kinds of professional whitening. Zoom! in-office whitening brightens your teeth in one visit, which suits anyone with an event coming up or who wants results right away. Take-home trays are custom-fitted to your teeth, so you can whiten gradually on your own schedule. Either way, we check your teeth and gums first. Whitening lightens natural teeth, not crowns, veneers or fillings, and some deep stains respond better to bonding or veneers; we'll tell you if that's the case for you.

2 options

Two ways to whiten

  • Zoom! In-Office Whitening

Professional whitening in our office that lifts years of stains in a single visit.

  • Take-Home Whitening Trays

Trays custom-fitted to your teeth, with professional whitening gel to use at home, so you can whiten gradually on your own schedule.

Why whiten with a dentist?

  • Zoom! brightens your smile in a single visit
  • Take-home trays custom-fitted to your teeth
  • Brighter results than over-the-counter products
  • Teeth and gums checked before you start
  • A plan around crowns, veneers or fillings on front teeth
  • Bonding or veneers for stains whitening can't lift

The process

How whitening works

  1. Exam and shade check

We check your teeth and gums, note your current shade, and talk through whether in-office or take-home whitening fits your goals.

  2. Zoom! or custom trays

Zoom! whitening is done in our office in one visit. For take-home whitening, we make trays fitted to your teeth and show you how to use them.

  3. Keeping it bright

We go over how to keep your results looking their best, and we check your smile at your regular cleanings.
